History Repeats Itself

I’m sorry, but after seeing shit like this, I can’t support Israel at all. I apologize for invoking Godwin’s law, but they’re acting as evil as the Nazis did, getting back for the Holocaust the way black Americans are trying to get back for slavery. I support one country called Palestine, where Hebrews, Arabs, Jews, Christians, and Muslims all coexist, not in apartheid (and Palestine’s flag doesn’t even have a crescent moon on it the way Israel’s has the Star of David, which to me is today to the Palestinians what the swastika is to the Jews and the Southern Cross is to black Americans). America needs to stay the hell out of international affairs, pissing away trillions on international conflicts that have nothing to do with us, and focus on its issues. Putting the interests of foreigners above residents of your country is called treason, similar to Abraham Lincoln’s illegal invasion of the Confederacy. I’m no isolationist, but I believe that containment while working for peace is the best policy towards warring nations.

I did this for a Peruvian furry, but despite showing them the piece via private note on DeviantArt, and they read it, they didn’t respond. God, if I had a nickel for every time that happened…

This I created for a Quebecian fur’s birthday today, and he actually followed good cyber-netiquette and responded to me a few minutes later, giving me the okay to post it on DA.

It took several days to do this since I was distracted by other things, but here’s my tribute piece to the late Akira Toriyama, modeled after Empyrea the eagle from Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. I used the old Imperial Japanese Army flag since the sun is in the center rather than the Navy flag, where it isn’t.

Also, I’m super-addicted to AI art, so here’s what I’ve generated in the past few days:

Here’s an example of anthro otters in Toriyama’s style:

AI Art

The 25th was Soviet Occupation Day in Georgia (the country, not the U.S. State), so I AI-generated some Soviet Navy bunnies.
Today is Carnival Day, so here are some carnival barker bunnies.

Digital Art

Old birthday art for Kalika, a furry artist I’ve known since my early days in the fandom, side-by-side with newer digital art I did for her recently.

Yesterday was also the birthday of a DeviantArt user who really loves Polly Polaris, one of the four current mascots for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team in Japan, and I thought her design really cute, so I decided to do fanart with elements of my own style (i.e. referencing the faces of real-life squirrels).

Birthday art for Menkaure, one of the first members of the fandom I communicated with online in the 2000s.

Today was Yukon Heritage Day in Canada, so I decided to use Bing Image Creator to generate Dall sheep, one of the mammals that inhabit the Canadian Territory, serving the RCMP:

Since today was the Emperor of Japan’s birthday as well, I decided to depict him in tanuki form:

Today was Tex Avery Day (which is different from his birthday on Feb. 26, the 22nd being said day in his Texas hometown) and World Scout Day, so I did some Avery-style Boy Scout Corgis:

I also did this retro scouting-themed art for a friend’s birthday on DeviantArt:

Today was the King of Norway’s birthday, so I AI-generated some bunny Vikings:

As for Harald V himself, here’s my interpretation of him in animal form:

I chose the Glechon dog breed since it’s the closest mammal name to House Glücksburg, and in my own stories, I try to have my characters’ names somewhat indicate their species.

I listened to an a-ha album and Das Rheingold (or The Rhinegold, the first of Richard Wagner’s The Ring of the Nibelung opera tetralogy) while doing the art, most of the time. I would absolutely love to see the operas themselves since they were based on the same Nordic stories that inspired The Lord of the Rings, though only if they had translated English versions, similar to what a local community college theater had done with Mozart’s The Magic Flute back at the end of 2022.

I did this AI art for President’s Day, and decided from now on I’ll lump them together in one picture via the Mac app Freeform, so I’m not constantly spamming my DeviantArt account with AI images more so than my regular digital art.

Started this as a request for a FurAffinity/DeviantArt user yesterday and finished it today of a blue walrus character of his.

Since today was statehood day for a few of India’s states, I did this AI art for the occasion.

I did this today as birthday art for Quentin Coyote, though I can’t show him it since he’s somewhat fallen off the face of the internet.

Generated AI art of hippo Mounties since today is World Hippo Day in addition to Flag Day for Canada.

Also did a digital piece for the occasion. That’s supposed to be the Canadian flag before their current one in the background behind the waving contemporary flag.

Since I’m having a bit of trouble coming up with new content for my public blog and answering some Daily Prompts, I figured I’d drop some of the artwork I’ve created digitally and through AI here.

Here’s a piece I did digitally through FireAlpaca, both in celebration of Chinese New Year and today being National Teddy Day (though giant pandas technically aren’t bears).

Here’s a quartet of art I generated through Bing Image Creator of purple dragons in celebration of Lunar New Year.
