American politics, since despite trying my best to avoid the topic like the plague, it absolutely won’t leave my mind given the traumatic experiences I’ve had with the subject around my own family and especially in the furry fandom. It’s a really triggering subject to me since it’s pretty much the story of my life, given all the dehumanization, invalidation, gaslighting, mockery, and whatnot I’ve endured as an autistic.

Yesterday was also the birthday of a DeviantArt user who really loves Polly Polaris, one of the four current mascots for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team in Japan, and I thought her design really cute, so I decided to do fanart with elements of my own style (i.e. referencing the faces of real-life squirrels).
Within the furry fandom, by doing gift art of other furs’ characters, provided they’re okay with how I like to depict their fursonas. Without, by being a good person and maintaining a cool attitude under pressure.
Seeing a female college student outfitted in cat ears and a tail in the lobby of an auditorium and my asking if she was involved in the furry fandom, and she kindly said she wasn’t, she just liked dressing like that.
